Charles Webster

Born in Matlock, UK, in the mid-'60s, Mr. Webster studied photography at art school and started making music at 15 in Sheffield's electronic scene. He moved to Nottingham in 1984, worked in studios with artists like Derrick May and Kevin Saunderson, and became an in-house engineer at Square Dance Studios. His project “Sine” led to the deep house classic “Belgium,” and he later co-founded the Love From San Francisco label before launching REMOTE in the UK. He has DJ’d worldwide, released critically acclaimed albums, and continues producing music while managing multiple labels.
